Factions

This factions page will provide you with brief information regarding each faction available (or unavailable, for that matter) at Evil Eyes. Please pay attention to what we are and aren't accepting. If you apply for something that's currently unavailable we will reject your application regardless.

All factions regardless of their availability status have exceptions made to canons.

Currently Accepting

We're currently accepting original, adoptables and canons from the following factions:

Medjai

The descendants of Pharaoh Seti I's sacred bodyguards, the Medjai are duty-bound to ensure that Imhotep is never resurrected; and if he is, their sole duty is to return him to his grave at all costs. With the O'Connells as their allies, the Medjai's ancestral enemies are the Djed and they're uninformed that their High Chieftain is the reincarnation of the pharaoh they once served.

Djed

The descendants of Imhotep's priests, the Djed practice ancient Egyptian religion and culture in order to be connected with their ancestors. Unbeknownst to them, their High Chieftain is the reincarnation of Pharaoh Seti I, who knowingly to them also resurrected Imhotep and Anck-su-namun. They remain uninformed that Imhotep might have an ulterior motive, and similarly to their ancestors, they're the Medjai's sworn enemies.

The Uninformed

Usually bystanders, these factions stumble upon (or by invitation from a participant) the expedition usually through unfortunate circumstances. They join the ranks uninformed of the world of The Mummy and that magic, the undead and Gods are very real. Usually in order to get accepted into a team, they must provide something beneficial to them that they currently don't have. Their acceptance occurs during game-play and all factions can join either the O'Connell-Medjai or Djed party.

• Civilians
• Military: Although they unexpectedly join the ranks, military characters face a bigger sacrifice unlike other factions: they usually have to abandon their occupation in order to participate or face consequences from their superiors.
• Scholars are skilled in academic-based occupations.

Not Accepting

We're currently not original and adoptable characters from the following factions:

The ancients originate from ancient times, and they manifest inside their reincarnation's mind. They frequently communicate with them through visions and dreams to inform them of what happened in their past life. Furthermore, they can take over their reincarnation's body for a period of time depending on the circumstance. However, it's not unheard of for an ancient to roam around as the undead, either - but it's definitely rare.
